2022 Progress report: Implementation of the UN Plan of Action on disaster risk reduction for resilience
The 2022 Progress Report of the UN Plan of Action on Disaster Risk Reduction for Resilience summarizes progress towards achieving the three UN Plan of Action commitments, based on the Results Framework. It reflects on collective achievements, opportunities, challenges, and the UN system’s capacity to deliver high-quality support to countries on disaster risk reduction (DRR), climate change adaptation and resilience building.
The Progress Report also highlights priority areas of action where further engagement is recommended to advance the implementation of the UN Plan of Action, including leveraging the calls made by Member States in the political declaration of the High-Level Meeting on the Midterm Review of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015–2030.
